When is the last day I can order for Christmas Delivery?

Monthly Subscribers: We automate and repeat this every 28 days from the day you subscribe.

Bi-Weekly Subscribers: We automate and repeat this every 14 days from the day you subscribe.

Is there a minimum subscription time with the Lifestyle box?

There is no minimum subscription time with the Lifestyle Box.

You can set your account to be skip, paused or cancelled at any time in MEMBERS ACCOUNT.


Make sure you cancel at least 48 hours before the automated charge date shown in your members account if you don't wish to be charged for the next bi-weekly/monthly's box.

Can I cancel anytime and without being charge for my next box?

What's in the box?

Your box may vary, but it will always contain awesome products for anyone who goes to the gym, exercises regularly or wants to lead a healthy lifestyle.

We aim to include anything from protein bars, cookies, brownies, crisps, balls, bites and other protein based treats or products.

Do I have to subscribe?

No, all our gift boxes and non-gift boxes are One Time Purchase only.

Only our Lifestyle Box comes with a subscription option.

Having said this, we think once you buy one you will want to buy many more!

What is included in the Lifestyle Box subscription?

Irrelevant of the size of box you select the content of each month will always vary from month to month.

We are always reviewing the Protein snack brands with their introduction of new flavours, posting them on our homepage, blogs and social media.

The moment we have new flavours and brands in stock, we immediately add them to the next month so our members get first hand at trying them out.

Our goal is to always provide you with the newest brands & flavour releases while keeping in check with our most popular brands & flavours of protein snacks.

Can I skip a bi-weekly or monthly delivery?

You can skip your subscriptions anytime in MEMBERS ACCOUNT.


Please keep in mind to make sure you do this at least 48 hours before the automated charge date and you will not be charged for the next bi-weekly or monthly schedule.

Am I able to select or choose what goes into my gift & non-gift boxes?

Our boxes are specially selected with premium protein snacks together and always full of surprises. We use our local tasting research, members community and customer feedback to help decide on some of the products that go into our subscription boxes.


One-Time Purchase (OTP) Box:
We will remain consistent with our OTP boxes until we restock, where we have the opportunity to bring in new flavours and keep the items that is rated from our customer feedback.

Subscription Box:
a. From time to time we do re-stock some of our most popular products but the majority of the products will change on a month-by-month basis.

b. In short, we don't rely have having seasonable boxes and to keep each month exciting, we aim to provide new surprises for our subscription members.

c. From time to time, we will run a survey to ask the subscription members what flavours and brands to keep while dropping brands and flavours that are most unpopular.

What if I have some dietary requirements or allergies?

Some products may contain traces of nuts and other allergens. Our products are not suitable for nut, peanut, milk, sesame, wheat, and egg allergy sufferers. 

a. Apart from our DIET Friendly Boxes, where the snacks are specifically made to catered for Vegan, Keto-Friendly and Low Sugar, the selected products may not be suitable for nut, peanut, milk, sesame, wheat, and egg allergy sufferers. 


b.
Allergens given are indicative only, given that we work with such a large number of independent suppliers we can't guarantee that their products will be suitable, therefore our products are not suitable for those with severe allergies.


c.
Additionally, some products will contain e-numbers and we cannot distinguish vegetarian, gluten-free or halal snacks.

How is the Box of Protein Diet Box category defined [Vegan]?

Vegan Box

We check both the food manufacturer's official website to the specific flavour's snack description and nutritional information for "Suitable for Vegan", "Vegan Friendly", and "Vegan Certified" text.

How is the Box of Protein Diet Box category defined [Keto-Friendly]?

Keto-Friendly Box

We check both the food manufacturer's official website to the specific flavour's snack description and nutritional information for "Suitable for Keto Diet", "Keto Friendly", and "Keto Certified" text.

We further use the nutritional information to identify and "aim" for the snack that has approx. a Net Carbohydrate of 3g.

As the content polyols are typically difficult to determine from just nutritional information / Ingredients, we would normally take the net carbs approx. 3g claims from the manufacturers before we it is selected for our Keto-Friendly Diet Box.

How is the Box of Protein Diet Box category defined [Low-Sugar]?

Low Sugar Box

We check both the food brands manufacturer official website to the specific flavour's snack description and nutritional information for Carbohydrate [g] off which Total Sugar [g] is 3g or below.

While a number of brands will claim "Low Sugar", we do find that the sugar level could be up to 6g to 8g. Thus, we aim for our selected low sugar protein snacks to be approx. below 3 grams.

Low Sugar levels can be normally identified in the Nutritional Information on the manufacture's website specifically to the flavours of the protein snacks. Note different flavours have may have different sugar levels.

This is normally found under:
Carbohydrate [g]
off which Total Sugars [g]

Best Before Date (BBE), what does it mean?

The date you see on the back of the bars is a BBE (best before end) date, which is different to an expiry date.

Here is an excerpt from the NHS website:

a. “Best before" dates are about quality, not safety. When the date is passed, it doesn't mean that the food will be harmful, but it might begin to lose its flavour and texture.”

The bars you received are still fresh until after the end of the date/month printed, only after that date has passed do we stop sending them out.

Our quality control ensures we would not ship out any snacks past BBE, but if we accidently did, please let us know and we will replace or refund immediately, no questions asked!

Why are you not offering subscription for the Box of Protein DIET Box?

Having gone though all the protein bars and snacks suppliers we are able to get our hands on in the U.K., we feel there are not enough offering in our Vegan, Keto-Friendly, and Low Sugar Diet Box range to provide members consistently different products from month to month across the year.

a. For example, if subscribed as member to our standard size box, which have 7 protein snack items on a monthly basis, that is 84 different products across the year. For fortnightly, this would be 168 differently types of snacks in a year. #missionimpossilbe

Payment & Orders

Does Box of Protein accept payment in other currencies?

We currently only accept payment in Pounds Sterling (GBP) though you are welcome to pay with a non-UK credit or debit card.

The amount will be charged in your local currency, adjusted for your card issuer’s exchange rate and fee if applicable.

I made a mistake with my order – how can I change it?

Our team will make every effort we can to either cancel or change an address to your order ahead of its fulfilment at our warehouse.

However, if your order is in the process of being fulfilled, we are unfortunately unable to stop your order or make any changes to the items included.

You still have the option available to return your order to us within 30 days of delivery.

How do I know if my order was successful?

As soon as you have completed your order you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If for any reason you are not sure if your order was successful, please contact us. You can find all of our contact details on our contact us page.

Do I need an account?

NO! We know that in this day and age, setting up countless website accounts with another new password is a bit of a hassle and we guess that is why the Password Managers browser extension exists.


All we need during your checkout is an email address, so we can let you know the order is placed and when it is despatched along with providing you tracking information.


Having said this, the advantage of setting up an account is to store your addresses and order history, especially useful for multiple subscriptions and single-item purchases.

There are 2 ways you can set up an account:

2. After clicking [CHECK OUT], on the [Information] page, click the "Log in" text, positioned after "Already have an account? ", next to the [Contact information] heading, above the box where you enter your email address.

Delivery & Returns

What is Letterbox Friendly?

We follow the UK Letterbox sizing of 254mm (Width) x 38mm (Height/Depth).

The Length is not relevant as long as the width and height is met, the box can go through the letter box. Having said this, the length of our box should not exceed 350mm.

Currently, only our Mini Size box is letterbox friendly, but we are working to extend this to also our Large Size in due time.

My order is a gift – can you leave out the invoice?

Absolutely! We no longer include the invoice in our parcels, but a downloadable copy can be found at the bottom of your order confirmation. 

Domestic UK: How much is delivery and how long will it take?

United Kingdom

Our standard delivery option for all box size from Standard, Large and MEGA is £4.50delivering to the UK using our the courier service via EVRI, deliveries should take 2 – 3 working days from dispatch. 

Shipping Upgrades:
For those who needs expedite options, we provide the following:

1. EVRI 1 Day Delivery (1-2 Working Days): £5.50

2. Royal Mail Track 24 Next Day Delivery (Next Working Day): £6.50

Mini Box Size: This is £1 cheaper than our standard option due to the size being letter box friendly. The optional upgrades are also £1 cheaper.

  1. EVRI Std (2-3 Working Days): £3.50

Mainland Europe: How much is delivery and how long will it take?

Mainland Europe

Our standard delivery option to Europe uses a mix of Royal Mail International & EVRI International in order to provide the best rate possible shipping from our U.K. warehouse.

You will notice they are cheaper than the courier's own site. Our goal is to make the shipping reasonable as we are aware of how expensive shipping is for customers shipping from the U.K.

The Courier international services used are:

  1. Royal Mail International Tracked (3 - 5 Working Days)
  2. Evri International 5+ (5 - 7 Working Days)


All the service includes tracking.

The rates will vary depending on the country and the size of the box. There are 4 zones in Europe not including Jersey & Guernsey with different rates against each of the 4 different sizes of the box.

Please kindly check the estimated shipping rates and courier service for your country during checkout.

The following countries we ship to in Mainland Europe are:

Next Working Day Delivery
Your order should arrive within 1 working days after dispatch before the cut of time of 2pm.

Expedited Delivery

Your order should arrive within 1-2 working days after dispatch before the cut of time of 12pm.

Standard Delivery

Your order should arrive within 2-3 working days after dispatch before the cut of time of 12pm.

Mainland Europe Delivery

Your order should arrive within 3-5 working days via Royal Mail International Tracked or 3-7 working days via Evri International after dispatch before the cut of time of 12pm.

United State & Canada Delivery

Your order should arrive within 6-7 working days via Royal Mail International Tracked or 7-9 working days via Evri International after dispatch before the cut of time of 12pm.


Please note that these are estimates and not guarantees, although correct in around 99% of cases, but can sometimes take longer due to delays outside of our control.

Which courier does Box of Protein use?

For U.K., Guernsey and Jersey, we currently use EVRI and DPD and from time to time, Royal Mail.

For Europe, United State and Canada, we currently use EVRI International 5+ (5 - 7 Days) and Royal Mail International Tracked (Europe 3 - 5 Days) (ROW 6 - 7 Days).

I've decided I don't want to keep my items - can I return them to you?

Custom & Import Fees

Do I need to pay custom fees?

You don't need to pay customs fees if you are based in the United Kingdom.

For all other countries outside of the U.K., you may face customs charges issued by your local customs authority.

GOOD NEWS: Most countries will have a limit on their cost of goods before customs fees are chargeable. For example, in Germany, it is €45 euros and importing into the U.K., it is £135 or less and does not contain alcohol or tobacco.

Please check with your local custom authority.

What is customs duty?

Goods - such as the Box of Protein Snacks can't simply be shipped freely from country to country.

When goods are imported into a different country or customs territory, there is a charge called 'Customs Duty' that is charged by the local customs authority where the goods are being imported into.

If Customs Duty is required by your territory, you'll be responsible for paying it to the authorities. Whether Customs Duty is payable, and by how much, depends on your country's specific regulations.

If you do have to pay Customs Duty though, the amount payable is usually calculated based on the value of the goods and the type of goods being imported. AND IF I DON'T PAY THE CUSTOMS DUTY? 

If you decide to refuse the customs fees, we must confirm with the courier that your parcel will be returned back to Box of Protein before processing a refund for your order and in some instances, a shipping and handling fee may be deducted from your refund.

If you're still unsure about whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

What is sales tax?

Sales Tax, also known as VAT or GST, is a tax charged on the supply of goods or services. Box of Protein is a new business, we currently are not registered for sales tax and so do not charge you the Sales Tax as part of the checkout process.
